About this journey

Overview

The 8 Days Kilimanjaro Lemosho Route is one of the most scenic and highly recommended routes to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. Starting from the western side at Londorossi Gate, this route offers a remote and less crowded beginning, passing through lush rainforest, moorlands, and the expansive Shira Plateau before joining the southern circuit. The itinerary is designed for optimal acclimatization, following the “climb high, sleep low” principle, which significantly increases summit success rates. Trekkers experience diverse landscapes and breathtaking views while gradually ascending to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa.
