Two exceptional gorilla destinations, different trip styles
Uganda and Rwanda both offer carefully managed mountain-gorilla trekking experiences, but the wider journeys feel different. Uganda works well for travellers who want to combine gorilla trekking with a longer wildlife circuit, chimpanzee tracking or multiple landscapes. Rwanda can fit efficiently into a shorter itinerary and can be combined with other experiences within the country or a cross-border East Africa trip.
