This carefully designed itinerary takes you through Tanzania’s most iconic national parks, including Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater, where you will witness breathtaking landscapes and incredible wildlife such as elephants, lions, giraffes, and possibly the Big Five. After the safari, you will fly to the beautiful island of Zanzibar to unwind on white sandy beaches, enjoy turquoise waters, and experience the rich Swahili culture. This tour is ideal for travelers seeking both adventure and relaxation in one unforgettable journey.
Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania (Arusha)
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. After check-in, you will have time to relax after your journey. In the evening, you will receive a full safari briefing covering your itinerary, destinations, and what to expect during your adventure. Enjoy dinner and prepare for an exciting journey ahead.
Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy a full-day game drive exploring the park’s diverse landscapes and spotting wildlife such as lions, zebras, giraffes, and wildebeests. Picnic lunch will be served inside the park. In the late afternoon, transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, drive towards the Serengeti via the Ngorongoro Highlands, enjoying breathtaking views along the way. Upon entering Serengeti National Park, begin your game drive through the vast plains, known for abundant wildlife and the Great Migration (seasonal). Continue exploring until evening before heading to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Full Day Serengeti Safari
Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. This park offers incredible opportunities to see predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as large herds of herbivores. Optional early morning balloon safari is available at an extra cost. Enjoy meals and overnight at your lodge or camp.
Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive before heading towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop at scenic viewpoints along the way, including the crater rim. Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon, where you can relax and enjoy stunning views over the Ngorongoro landscape. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Tour & Return to Arusha
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive in one of Africa’s most unique wildlife destinations. The crater is home to a high concentration of animals, including rhinos, lions, elephants, and flamingos. After the game drive and picnic lunch, ascend the crater and drive back to Arusha for overnight stay.
Day 7: Flight to Zanzibar & Beach Relaxation
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your beach resort. Spend the rest of the day relaxing on the white sandy beaches, swimming in the warm Indian Ocean, or enjoying resort facilities. Dinner and overnight at the beach hotel.
Day 8: Zanzibar Leisure / Optional Activities
Enjoy a full day at leisure in Zanzibar. You can relax on the beach or take part in optional activities such as a spice tour, Stone Town exploration, snorkeling, or a sunset dhow cruise. This day is designed for relaxation and enjoying the tropical atmosphere. Dinner and overnight at the resort.
Day 9: Departure
After breakfast, enjoy some final moments on the beach before being transferred to Zanzibar Airport for your departure flight. This marks the end of your unforgettable Tanzania bush-to-beach adventure.
