Chemka Hot Spring Day Trip

Your trip begins with a 08:00 AM pick-up from your hotel in Moshi or Arusha. You will embark on a scenic drive through the countryside, passing local villages, Maasai homesteads, and beautiful landscapes. The drive takes approximately 1.5 hours, with occasional stops for photos and to enjoy the views.

Upon arrival at Chemka Hot Spring, you will be welcomed by the sight of clear, turquoise waters surrounded by lush vegetation. The warm water is naturally filtered through underground rocks, making it one of the cleanest natural springs in Tanzania. You will have plenty of time to swim, float, or relax in the warm waters while enjoying the peaceful ambiance of the area.

For those looking for a bit of fun, rope swings are available for an exciting jump into the water. You might even spot small fish swimming around your feet! The surrounding area provides great spots to sunbathe, read a book, or simply unwind under the shade of the trees.

Around 12:30 PM, a picnic lunch will be served near the spring, where you can enjoy local dishes and refreshing drinks. After lunch, you can take another dip in the warm water or explore the surrounding area.

At 02:00 PM, you will start your return journey back to Moshi or Arusha. You will arrive at your hotel by 03:30 PM, marking the end of a relaxing and refreshing day at Chemka Hot Spring.
