Materuni Waterfalls & Coffee Tour – Full Day Itinerary

Morning: Pick-up & Transfer You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi in the morning and driven to Materuni Village, located on the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon arrival, meet your local guide for a short briefing about the tour and village life.

Mid-Morning: Hike to Materuni Waterfalls Start a guided walk through beautiful landscapes filled with banana plantations, coffee farms, and small streams. The hike takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour. At the waterfalls, you can relax, take photos, and even enjoy a refreshing swim in the natural pool.

Afternoon: Coffee Tour Experience After returning from the waterfall, visit a local Chagga coffee farm. Learn how coffee is grown, harvested, roasted, and processed using traditional methods. You will also take part in grinding the coffee and enjoy a fresh cup while experiencing local songs and dances.
