Lake Manyara National Park Day Trip Itinerary
Morning: Pick-up & Drive to Lake Manyara
After an early breakfast, depart Arusha and enjoy a scenic drive along the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park. Enter the park and start your game drive through lush forests alive with baboons and monkeys.
Late Morning: Game Drive & Wildlife Viewing
Head to the open plains and woodlands in search of elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and the park’s famous tree-climbing lions. The alkaline lake attracts thousands of flamingos, pelicans, and storks — a paradise for bird lovers.
Afternoon: Picnic Lunch & Exploration
Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot inside the park. Afterward, continue your safari with visits to the hot springs and groundwater forests, keeping an eye out for hippos in the lake.
Late Afternoon: Return to Arusha
Exit the park and drive back to Arusha, arriving in the evening.
