Tarangire National Park Day Trip Itinerary
Morning: Pick-up from Arusha & Drive to Tarangire
After an early breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha. Drive for about 2 hours to Tarangire National Park, passing scenic Maasai villages and open plains along the way.
Late Morning: Game Drive
Upon entering the park, begin your game drive. You’ll immediately notice the iconic baobab trees and large herds of elephants. Your guide will take you through prime areas for spotting lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, and buffaloes.
Afternoon: Picnic Lunch & Safari
Stop at a scenic picnic site inside the park for lunch while enjoying the views of the Tarangire River. Afterward, continue your game drive, focusing on spotting more wildlife, including rare species like oryx and greater kudu.
Late Afternoon: Return to Arusha
After a full day of exploration, exit the park and drive back to Arusha, arriving in the evening.
