Fly or drive to Selous Game Reserve. Over three days, enjoy game drives, a thrilling boat safari on the Rufiji River, and walking safaris with armed rangers. Expect elephants, hippos, crocodiles, wild dogs, and a wealth of birdlife. Overnight in a Selous tented camp.
Continue to Ruaha National Park, Tanzania’s largest national park. Spend three days exploring its rugged landscapes and witnessing some of Africa’s greatest concentrations of elephants, lions, and wild dogs. Morning and afternoon game drives with overnight in a lodge overlooking the Ruaha River.
Drive or fly to Mikumi National Park, often compared to a “mini-Serengeti” due to its sweeping savannahs. Game drives focus on spotting lions, giraffes, buffalo, and zebra. Overnights in a comfortable lodge inside or near the park.
Visit the lush Udzungwa Mountains, known for unique primates, waterfalls, and forest hikes. Explore the Sanje Waterfalls trail before returning to Mikumi for overnight.
