Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your Arusha hotel. Relax and prepare for the adventure ahead. Overnight in Arusha.
Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Depart for Tarangire, famous for giant elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Game drives will reveal lions, zebras, giraffes, and many bird species. Dinner and overnight near Tarangire.
Day 3: Tarangire – Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, head to Lake Manyara National Park, home to diverse ecosystems, flamingos, and tree-climbing lions. Afternoon game drive and overnight in Karatu.
Day 4: Karatu – Serengeti National Park
Drive across the highlands and Ngorongoro to the Serengeti, with a game drive en route. The plains come alive with wildebeest, zebras, and predators. Overnight in Serengeti.
Day 5–6: Full Days in Serengeti
Spend two full days exploring the Serengeti, focusing on areas where the Great Migration is present. Morning and afternoon game drives maximize wildlife viewing, with chances to spot lions, cheetahs, elephants, and more. Overnight in Serengeti.
Day 7: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti before heading to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Overnight at a lodge on the crater rim with spectacular views.
Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the Eighth Wonder of the World. Spot elephants, lions, zebras, and rhinos in this natural haven. Afternoon drive back to Karatu for overnight.
Day 9: Karatu – Arusha – Departure
After breakfast, return to Arusha with optional cultural stops. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight or continue to Zanzibar for a beach extension.
