Itinerary
Day 1: Drive to Saadani National Park & Game Drive
Morning pick-up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam or ferry arrival point. Drive to Saadani National Park, enjoying scenic coastal and countryside views along the way. Upon arrival, begin your game drive, exploring the park’s open plains and woodland areas. Look out for elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, warthogs, and abundant birdlife.
Later in the afternoon, enjoy time at the beach where wildlife and ocean coexist. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or tented camp inside or near the park.
Day 2: Morning Safari, Beach Time & Return
After breakfast, enjoy a short morning game drive or optional boat safari on the Wami River, where hippos, crocodiles, and birds are commonly seen. Later, relax on the beach or enjoy the peaceful surroundings before beginning your return journey to Dar es Salaam or Zanzibar connection point in the afternoon.
