The 7 Days Great Migration Safari is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that follows one of the world’s most dramatic wildlife spectacles — the Great Wildebeest Migration in the Serengeti. Each year, over two million wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles cross the Serengeti plains in search of fresh grazing, pursued by predators such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, and crocodiles. This safari takes you to the very heart of the migration route while also exploring Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara, giving you an unparalleled chance to witness Africa’s most iconic wildlife in action.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Depart Arusha after breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its massive elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Game drives will take you across the park’s savannahs and river valleys, where you can see buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and predators such as lions. Dinner and overnight at a lodge near Tarangire.
Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, set off for the Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Highlands and enjoying breathtaking views. You’ll arrive in Serengeti for an afternoon game drive, entering the endless plains where lions, cheetahs, elephants, and wildebeest roam. Overnight in a Serengeti lodge or tented camp.
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha
On your final day, you’ll visit Lake Manyara National Park, a lush and compact park located at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. This park is well known for its tree-climbing lions, colorful flamingos along the lakeshore, and diverse habitats that support giraffes, elephants, hippos, and troops of playful baboons.
You’ll enjoy a morning game drive with plenty of opportunities for photography and bird watching. After lunch, you’ll drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon, marking the end of your unforgettable 3 Days Northern Circuit Safari.
Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After a morning game drive in Serengeti, you will travel towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with a chance to spot wildlife en route. Arrive at a lodge on the crater rim for dinner and overnight, enjoying sweeping views of the crater floor below.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater
Today you’ll descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” This natural caldera is home to nearly every species of East African wildlife, including elephants, hippos, lions, hyenas, and the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the hippo pool before continuing your game drives. Return to Karatu for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Lake Manyara – Arusha
On your final day, you will visit Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its diverse birdlife, large elephant herds, and tree-climbing lions. After a morning game drive and picnic lunch, you’ll drive back to Arusha, marking the end of your Great Migration Safari.
