Day 1: Arusha – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast in Arusha, you will begin your safari with a scenic drive across the Great Rift Valley and the highlands of Ngorongoro en route to Serengeti National Park. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of Tanzania’s countryside before entering the park’s endless plains.
Upon arrival, you’ll embark on your first thrilling game drive, exploring the vast savannah and spotting wildlife such as lions, giraffes, elephants, and, depending on the season, the wildebeest migration. In the evening, you’ll head to your lodge or tented camp inside or near the Serengeti for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti, one of the greatest wildlife sanctuaries in the world. Early morning game drives will give you the chance to see predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards at their most active. After breakfast, continue with mid-morning and afternoon game drives across the park’s diverse habitats — from riverine forests to endless plains.
The Serengeti offers unmatched wildlife encounters, whether it’s witnessing a lion hunt, spotting elephants moving across the savannah, or marveling at vast herds of wildebeest and zebras. Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight under the Serengeti skies.
Day 3: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, enjoy a final game drive in the Serengeti, searching for wildlife you may have missed. By mid-morning, you’ll depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with game-viewing opportunities along the way. Upon arrival, you’ll check in at your lodge perched on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, offering spectacular views of this natural wonder. Enjoy a relaxing evening, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
Today you’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for one of the most spectacular safari experiences in Africa. The crater floor is home to over 25,000 animals, including elephants, lions, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, and the rare black rhino.
After a full morning of game viewing, you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool before ascending the crater walls. In the afternoon, you’ll drive back to Arusha, arriving in the early evening, where your safari concludes.
